HEFT is a Colorado-based nonprofit advancing understanding and workforce readiness in hydrogen and clean transportation.
We help turn clean transportation vehicles, technologies, and partnerships into practical learning opportunities for students, educators, workforce programs, fleet partners, public agencies, donors, and communities.

Turning Donated Vehicles into Learning Assets
HEFT accepts donated vehicles and related transportation assets and uses them to support education, workforce readiness, clean transportation demonstration, and public benefit.
When HEFT places a vehicle, we also create educational materials that help explain what the vehicle is, how the technology works, why clean transportation matters, and what students, instructors, technicians, fleet partners, and community members may want to understand.
Zero-emission vehicles that meet HEFT’s mission, are placed directly into learning or public-benefit settings. Other vehicles may be sold at auction, with proceeds supporting HEFT’s mission.
Building Understanding, Readiness, and Opportunity
Your support helps HEFT create educational materials, support workforce readiness, develop partnerships, place donated vehicles responsibly, and make clean transportation easier to understand.
