Many employers match charitable gifts made by employees, retirees, or family members. An employer match may increase the impact of your donation to HEFT at no additional cost to you.
Employer matching is a simple way to increase the value of your gift. After you donate, check with your employer, HR department, or workplace giving portal to see whether your company offers a matching gift program.
If HEFT is eligible, your employer may match all or part of your donation, helping support education, workforce readiness, vehicle-based learning, partnerships, and public-benefit work in hydrogen and clean transportation.
How it Works in Three Simple Steps

1. Make Your Supporting Gift to HEFT
Start by making a donation to HEFT in the amount that is right for you. You can make a one-time gift, or a recurring monthly or annual donation.

2. Check Your Employer’s Matching Program
Check with your employer, HR department, benefits team, or workplace giving portal whether charitable gifts to 501(c)(3) nonprofits are eligible for matching.

3. Submit HEFT’s Information to your Employer
If your employer does offer a gift matching program, submit the requested information through your company’s matching gift process. Information you may need is below.
